Jade Elliott
Jade was born and raised in Washington and is living the dream by being in Seattle at FOX 13! She joined FOX 13 after spending time as a morning anchor in Salt Lake City, Spokane and in her hometown, the Tri-Cities.
She is a proud alumna of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications at Washington State University, GO COUGS!!!
During her career, Jade has had the opportunity to report live from the Pac-12 championship game in California and ESPN Gameday from Pullman, she has field anchored from the Rose Bowl game and Parade in Pasadena as well as the NBA All Star Game in Salt Lake City and covered a Presidential visit. She reported nationally from Seattle for news stations across the country during the beginning of the pandemic and she’s covered snowstorms for the weather channel during a record-breaking winter and even experienced an earthquake on LIVE TV! On top of all of that she also started a series highlighting the need for more awareness and resources for domestic violence victims and survivors and she has been blessed with being able to tell the stories of people in their communities that truly make a difference.
Jade always knew she wanted to be a morning news anchor. As a kid, she would turn the TV on mute and read the closed captioning like a teleprompter.
She is also a former titleholder and Miss Congeniality with the Miss America Organization and continues to stay involved in the organization as a volunteer. She also volunteers with Children’s Hospital, raising money for their uncompensated care fund.
Jade is a wife and mom and, when not reading and reporting the news, she loves to sing, emcee events, wakeboard and take her kids to their sports and dance practices and watch football with her family. Married to a proud former Utah Ute football player, you can always find them in their respective college gear!
Jade loves getting up dark and early to bring you the latest news from overnight and throughout the morning. You can catch her during the week and weekends on Good Day Seattle.
